Common gaps

Where Replit-first apps usually break

Teams outgrow hosted sandboxes when customers depend on the product. Here is what we plan for early.

Long-running workloads and scaling limits

Background jobs, websocket patterns, and traffic spikes often need architecture tuned for managed cloud functions or containers, not a single shared runtime.

Secrets and environment parity

What works inside the Repl does not always map cleanly to staging and prod. We normalize env configs and secret handling.

Persistent data beyond the starter database

Backups, migration strategy, retention, and read patterns become non-negotiable when you onboard paying users.

Exit plan from the Repl account

Code, DNS, deployments, and logs should belong to your business accounts. We migrate with a reversible plan and documented runbooks.

FAQ

FAQs

Straight answers to the questions most commonly asked.

Do I need to have already built my app? ⌄
This service is primarily for apps that already exist, built in Lovable, Replit, Bolt, Claude, v0, Cursor or similar. If you have not built yet, we can discuss whether a focused custom build or training session is a better fit.
Is my Lovable (or Replit / Bolt) app secure enough for real customers? ⌄
It depends on the app, how it was configured, the data it handles and who uses it. Areas worth reviewing commonly include authentication, permissions, secrets, logging and data access. Our free audit can run automated checks, while an expert review considers the findings in the context of your app.
How do I move my Lovable app off Lovable onto my own hosting? ⌄
The path depends on how the project is configured. It may involve exporting the code, setting up deployment, reviewing the Supabase project, configuring a domain and managing secrets. We first review the current setup, then scope the migration or improvements that are appropriate.
Can you stay involved after the initial review or improvements? ⌄
Potentially. Ongoing development, maintenance or technical advice can be scoped separately based on the app and the level of support you need.
How much does it cost to make a vibe-coded app production ready? ⌄
Our free audit provides automated findings. Expert review and implementation work are scoped to the app, its intended use and the issues that need attention. Contact us for an estimate and expected timing.
How fast can we get going? ⌄
Timing depends on current availability and the scope of the app. We confirm an expected start date, review points and delivery timing before work begins.
Do I own everything when we're done? ⌄
Ownership and access are agreed as part of the scope. Where practical, repositories, cloud services and related accounts are set up in your name, with documentation and handover responsibilities made clear.
What if I'm not technical at all? ⌄
That is fine. We explain findings and trade-offs in plain language, and identify where a decision needs additional technical, legal or operational input.
How is ongoing support arranged? ⌄
The scope, availability, response expectations and notice period are agreed before ongoing work starts.
Where are you based? ⌄
The Rollout Labs team are based in Melbourne, Australia. If you're local we can meet for a coffee. If not we work globally too.
